Stan Lee, Legendary Comics Creator, Passes Away

This week begins with sad news for the comic community. Stan Lee, the iconic create of Spider-man, The Avengers, and The X-Men, has passed away. Marvel’s touching memorial post has a quote from Stan that will be forever in the back of our minds as we continue to build apps and blogs for collectors.

I used to be embarrassed because I was just a comic book writer while other people were building bridges or going on to medical careers. And then I began to realize: entertainment is one of the most important things in people’s lives. Without it, they might go off the deep end. I feel that if you’re able to entertain, you’re doing a good thing.

‘Star Wars’: Pedro Pascal to Lead ‘The Mandalorian’ Series

I’ve been fascinated by the bounty hunters from Star Wars since I was a child and to say that I’m excited for this show would be an understatement. According to this article from Variety, the TV series will premier on the Disney streaming service, Disney+.

Contrary to popular belief, not all cards from the 1990’s are junk. Jersey cards from the late 90’s were seeded far less often than the memorabilia cards of today so even the “commons” are collectible. This Michael Jordan autographed jersey card is a prime example of one of the best innovations from the 90’s and will continue to appreciate in value indefinitely.
